An educational STEM camp gives children opportunities to explore science and math through building. Young Engineers Calgary NW uses working engineering models so children can test an idea and observe the result.
How does building make science practical?
A moving model lets children investigate cause and effect. They can compare gear sizes, watch how a pulley transfers motion, or adjust a structure to improve its balance. Instructors guide the activity while children do the building and testing.
Where does math fit?
Counting parts, comparing sizes, following sequences and discussing speed connect numbers to a physical project. Our summer programme has also included grade-level math practice. Check the current session description for its exact activities.

Confirm the age range, venue, dates, session length, fees and available support. Previous July and August schedules are no longer current; use the registration listing for upcoming sessions.
